Born from Nintendo, raised by the motherboard, and nurtured by noise, 8*B1T was raised to the sounds of circuits popping and coins dropping. Born and raised in Southern California, 8*B1T has lent his ears to electronic music since 10yrs of age, engaged in the knowledge of music through percussion, sax, and keyboard, and started spinning in 2002. Ever since he first heard the sounds of The LA hardcore techno, he was in love. After recently relocating to Austin TX, he quickly set up shop and began spreading the broken noise around town.
With multiple forthcoming breakbeat releases on ‘Kick It Recordings’ and ‘Royal One Records’, 8*B1T continues to push the sound of breakbeats in the underground of ATX. He is a founding member of the only breakbeat crew in the ATX, Broke Nasty and currently holds a residency at Karma Lounge every week for Boom Sundays hosted by Davinci Ultd. You can count on him to bring the grime and slime, the nitty gritty, and the bass in your face, while mixing booty shakin’, baby makin’, house breakin’, ear drummin’ basslines with 100% pure win sauce over an entree of amazingness, served with balsamic WOOT and a tasty side of hip hop hooray..Hungry?

The original isn’t booty either, but just because the word “booty” is in the track doesn’t mean it has to be a booty track. Besides, if you want to get technical, the real definition of booty=bootleg, on which this producer has succeeded on all fronts. Far cry from “standard” too, if you ask me. This track is slick.
