Behold the coming of trap. Both established and emerging artists are coming out with more and more of this music, which essentially combines instrumental hip-hop with the electronic sound world. Or, as Axel Boy so eloquently puts it, “southern rap based with a great club feel” so it provides the right ingredients allowing producers to make some proper dance floor sliders.
